Caron Walsh

Originally from the UK, Caron has called Australia home for nearly three decades. She joined CoastFM in 2003 and has been an active contributor ever since, both on air and behind the scenes as a member of the station's board.
Her musical heart firmly belongs to the eighties—particularly new wave and synth-pop—and she's passionate about shining a spotlight on female artists across all genres.
When she's not at the studio, Caron can often be found tending to her Bromeliads. She's an enthusiastic member of a local Bromeliad society on the Central Coast.
Outside of radio, Caron is a registered nurse. Trained in the UK, she currently works in a Central Coast hospital, balancing her love of broadcasting with a long-standing commitment to healthcare.
