David Horspool, a long-time Umina Beach local, has built a distinguished radio career spanning more than four decades, reaching 45 years in 2026. Beginning at 2CH in Sydney, he later spent extensive periods at 2GO on the Central Coast, with a brief time at Star 104.5.
An award-winning audio producer, David has earned 14 Australian Commercial Radio Awards, reflecting both his creative skill and collaborative approach. His experience across on-air and production roles has shaped a style that blends professionalism with authenticity.
Now contributing to community radio at Coast FM 963, he focuses on engaging local audiences while supporting grassroots broadcasting. Outside radio, David is a passionate Manly Sea Eagles supporter, an avid vinyl collector, and a fan of Elton John, with a deep love of music from the 60s to 90s.
