Fletch grew up in Sydney's western suburbs in the '60s and mid-'70s, then set out to explore more of the city after starting an apprenticeship in typesetting - a trade that's since been overtaken by the digital age. One thing that hasn't changed is the music from those years, which for him still sounds just as fresh and powerful today whilst still enjoying new artists reinterpreting what's gone before as well as those creating new music.

Now living on the Central Coast, Fletch worked in the local community radio station in Port Stephens for many years, sharing the music he knows and loves. His specialty shows spanned Blues, Gospel, R&B, Rock, Country, Americana, Big Band, and classic Rock 'n' Roll - a mix built on great songs and real feeling. For Fletch, it all comes down to connection: storytelling, heartbreak, joy, and those hip-swinging moments that remind us why music matters and how it can bring people and communities together.
