COAST FM 963 kicks off the new year with a special month-long celebration of the biggest Australian chart hits of all time. “Certified Number Ones” dives into more than 40 years of Top 40 history from The Book of Top 40 Research by Jim Barnes and Steven Scanes, focusing on genuine Australian Number One songs spanning the 1960s through to the 1990s.

Artist of the Day - Brian Johnson
English singer and songwriter, born 5 October 1947 in Dunston, Gateshead, England, UK. According to the AC/DC hype, he had been praised by Bon Scott as an outstanding vocalist, and after Bon's death, he was recruited to replace him in 1980.
He pulled back from concert appearances after being warned of impending deafness in 2016. After the implementation of an unspecified hearing device, he has started appearing live again in 2022.
