Music is creative, influential, inspiring, uplifting, and best enjoyed loud.
I've loved music for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I'd sing and dance around the lounge room with the stereo turned up (but only when no one else was home) to records like Bat Out of Hell, Crime of the Century, Harry Nilsson's The Point, and my all-time favorite, Bette Midler's The Divine Miss M.
Growing up in a music-loving household, my parents took me to my first concert—Billy Joel at The Hordern Pavilion in 1978. The first single I bought was Christopher Cross' Arthur's Theme. While my tastes have evolved to favor funk over pop, I truly enjoy all styles of music.
Hosting shows on CoastFM gives me the chance to indulge my passion for music and share it with others. I especially love presenting soundtrack shows, where I can research and rediscover amazing songs to bring back to the airwaves. It's such a rewarding experience!.
