Staffed by healthcare professionals and outreach workers, the van offers medical care, mental health support, and connections to social services.
Donations keep the clinics running and fund vital supplies. You can get involved by donating online or volunteering.

Self-Love Yoga are running classes on Tuesday nights in the Wyoming Community Centre.
They run between 6.30 & 7.30pm on Tuesday nights and payment is by gold coin donation.

It's on at the Woy Woy Seascouts Hall on North Burge Road and starts at 10am with a 3pm finish.
It's a chance for vinyl-loving public to purchase rare and collectable records, CDs and DVDs at reasonable price, and there's also plenty of parking!

Brisbane Water Historical Society is celebrating 75 years, documenting the history of the Central Coast with the 75th Anniversary Fair.
They are holding a 75th Anniversary Fair on November 30.
You can enjoy the celebrations with a range of fun activities, food and crafts.
There will be historical displays, great food and activities, as well as the opportunity to find out about your family history.
Stroll through the cottage, museum and beautiful grounds which is all maintained by a small team of dedicated volunteers.
Go in period costume if you'd like and experience life on the Central Coast in colonial times and beyond.

Empower Golf Come Try – Golf Clinic

Empower Golf invite the disabled community to attend a “Come & Try Free Golf Clinic”. It's held the first Tuesday of every month between 11 & noon.
No prior experience in Golf is needed – just go along and give it a try!

The clinic is run by an accredited specialised coach and open to anyone living with a disability. Gosford Golf Club is also home to a ParaGolfer. This all-terrain mobility device allows people to move into a standing position, replicating the full golfing experience for those affected by spinal injuries and conditions like cerebral palsy.
BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL even though it's a free clinic.

So whether it's lending a hand, raising funds, or contributing to community programs, your time and energy can have a lasting impact.

Umina Beach


The Central coast branch of the Disabled Surfers Association is returning to Umina Beach with their ‘Smiles on Dials' event on Saturday DECEMBER 6.
The DSA, is a volunteer run organisation that enables people of all ages and abilities to enjoy a past-time in Australia that many take for granted – beach surfing!
Surfers have been quick to register their interest, and they now need many volunteers to make the day safe and enjoyable.
Volunteering, at a Smiles on Dials event, consists of helping participants to and from the beach and in and out of the water, along with set up and clean up.
Volunteers do not need to know how to surf, although water skills are highly valued. Food is provided and smiles are always encouraged!
Interested surfers and volunteers, can register before the day or even on the day.

Variety Social

Variety Social, is a happy gathering of seniors held every Thursday between 9.30 and 1 at the 50 plus leisure and learning centre in Gosford.
Morning tea is provided with entertainment between 11 and noon.
There's a raffle with admission prizes on offer and hot meals and sandwiches that you can order on the day.
So, if you are after a fun day and enjoy meeting new faces, go along on Thursdays at the Auditorium in the 50 plus Leisure & Learning Centre on Albany Street, Gosford.

Dancing will be from 6pm - 7.30pm with a few breaks so you can chat and be merry.
Bring a plate of food and /or some drinks to share as well as a few gold coins for donation to cover the room hire and to go towards the raffle prizes. Please get in touch if you would like to donate raffle prizes.
Her regular Zumba Gold classes (low impact for people new to dance/fitness or with health concerns) are 5.30pm Monday and 11am Friday at Narara Eco-Village.

The Peninsula School for Seniors

Every TUESDAY – THE PENINSULA SCHOOL FOR SENIORS meets at the Peninsula Community Centre.
The group offers support to the aged residents on the Peninsula, giving them the opportunity to meet like-minded people, form friendships and socialise.
They hold a weekly meeting, offering bus trips. outings, and welfare check ins. The group also celebrates birthdays, do book swaps, play games or talk about current affairs.
Each week they invite a different speaker along to share their knowledge on a subject, hobby or passion. They have all kinds of presenters from Beekeepers, local members, Perma culturists to local historians. So, if you'd like to join them, go along at 10am on Tuesdays, to the Peninsula Community Centre at 93 McMasters Road, Woy Woy.

Yarn Bomb

Gosford Kibble Park and Toukley Village Green


If you've noticed trees wrapped in bright, colourful yarn around Kibble Park, Gosford, or down by The Village Green at Toukley, you've spotted Zonta Central Coast's latest yarn bomb — a community art project with a powerful message.
It's a part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, a global campaign running from 25 November to 10 December that calls for an end to violence against women and girls.
Each year, Zonta members and volunteers across the Coast knit and crochet hundreds of vibrant panels to create eye-catching displays that make people stop, look, and learn.
Attached to the yarn are messages and information about domestic and family violence — along with where to seek help.
