Pelican Time at The Entrance
An eco-friendly Pelican experience on the Central Coast that gives locals and guests a unique insight into one of the region's special birds, the Pelican.
Pelican Time with Marine Wildlife Rescue Central Coast takes place every Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, Public Holidays (with the exception of Christmas) and every day during School Holidays, at 3:30pm at Pelican Plaza, The Entrance.

TALK TO ME BRO is an organisation who's mission is to reduce suicide to zero in Australia. Through early intervention, they aim to create societal change - reducing the stigma in attitudes towards suicide, and empowering people to take control of their mental health.
They offer tailored mental health programs that meet the unique needs of each individual audience such as workshops, keynote sessions, immersive experiences, and team-building activities and more. Their programs focus on resilience-building, communication, and self-care strategies that participants can integrate into their everyday lives. They have monthly catch ups at Norah Head Lighthouse and more community events to come.

The Peninsula School for Seniors

Every TUESDAY – THE PENINSULA SCHOOL FOR SENIORS meets at the Peninsula Community Centre.
The group offers support to the aged residents on the Peninsula, giving them the opportunity to meet like-minded people, form friendships and socialise.
They hold a weekly meeting, offering bus trips. outings, and welfare check ins. The group also celebrates birthdays, do book swaps, play games or talk about current affairs.
Each week they invite a different speaker along to share their knowledge on a subject, hobby or passion. They have all kinds of presenters from Beekeepers, local members, Perma culturists to local historians. So, if you'd like to join them, go along at 10am on Tuesdays, to the Peninsula Community Centre at 93 McMasters Road, Woy Woy.

Empower Golf Come Try – Golf Clinic
Gosford Golf Club,
Empower Golf invite the disabled community to attend a “Come & Try Free Golf Clinic”. It's held the first Tuesday of every month between 11 & noon.
No prior experience in Golf is needed – just go along and give it a try!
The clinic is run by an accredited specialised coach and open to anyone living with a disability. Gosford Golf Club is also home to a ParaGolfer. This all-terrain mobility device allows people to move into a standing position, replicating the full golfing experience for those affected by spinal injuries and conditions like cerebral palsy.
BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL even though it's a free clinic.

The Central Coast Vintage & Collectibles Fair is on March 21 & 22 at the Lions Community Hall, Russell Drysdale St, East Gosford.

Dementia Cafe - 'D-Caf'

If you are caring for a loved one who is living with Dementia, a ‘ROTARY D-CAF'
is for you both. A Dementia Café is a group which gathers for morning tea twice a month,
providing suitable activities for those with dementia, whilst offering an opportunity for carers to chat & support each other.
From February 2026, Rotary The Entrance, is offering a new D-CAF in the BATEAU BAY PCYC building on the ground floor.
It will be held every 1st and 3rd TUESDAY of the month, between 10am and noon.
This is a free service. If you are interested in attending, places are limited.

Looking for a day of family fun? Join Marine Rescue NSW Tuggerah Lakes, for their Open Day on March 21 between 10 & 2.
You can check out their rescue boats, life saving devices, safety equipment and vessel maintenance.

"Health on the Streets" is a mobile clinic providing essential healthcare to the homeless on the Central Coast. Staffed by healthcare professionals and outreach workers, the van offers medical care, mental health support, and connections to social services.

Autism Community Network Meeting Feb 16

A new social group for autistic adults, run by the Autism Community Network, is having its inaugural meeting on the Coast.
The informal event is on Monday 16 February from 6pm - 8pm at Ironbark at Archies in Gosford. Love on the Spectrum's Ronan Soussa, is a special guest.

Umina Beach
The Central coast branch of the Disabled Surfers Association is returning to Umina Beach with their ‘Smiles on Dials' event on Saturday FEBRUARY 7.
The DSA, is a volunteer run organisation that enables people of all ages and abilities to enjoy a past-time in Australia that many take for granted – beach surfing!
Surfers have been quick to register their interest, and they now need many volunteers to make the day safe and enjoyable.
Volunteering, at a Smiles on Dials event, consists of helping participants to and from the beach and in and out of the water, along with set up and clean up.
Volunteers do not need to know how to surf, although water skills are highly valued. Food is provided and smiles are always encouraged!
Interested surfers and volunteers, can register before the day or even on the day.
