Greg Willmette

Presenter

Greg Willmette, a Point Clare local, grew up on the southern shores of the Central Coast in the village of Mooney Mooney and had a passion for radio at a young age, idolising the likes of Gary O' Callaghan and Frank Hyde someday wanting to call football and host a breakfast show which he went on to achieve doing both on commercial radio. Joining Coast FM (then 2CCC) back in 1992 when it first went to air , Greg was involved with the Saturday sporting and racing coverage and calling the local rugby league on a Sunday afternoon.

Greg then went on to commercial radio working at 4LG Longreach in central western QLD, 2LF in Young on the NSW S/W slopes and doing some sporting commentary for 2WG and Star FM Wagga Wagga in the Riverina district. Returning to Coast FM in 2007 Greg hosted a number of daytime programmes before moving to breakfast Monday to Wedensday mornings.

Greg was made a life member of the station in 2015 . He is a Beatles fan, follows the Sydney Roosters, enjoys participating in and comparing trivia nights, Road trips around NSW, and producing and presenting his weekly radio programmes. Away from radio his voice can be heard over the P.A at Ettalong Diggers comparing various promotions and has taken up swimming as a way to keep fit and for relaxation.
