Smiles on Dials - Disabled Surfers Association Central Coast

Umina Beach

The Central coast branch of the Disabled Surfers Association is returning to Umina Beach with a ‘Smiles on Dials' event on Saturday April 5. The DSA, is a volunteer run organisation that enables people of all ages and abilities to enjoy a past-time in Australia that many take for granted – beach surfing! Surfers have been quick to register their interest, and they now need a large number of volunteers to make the day safe and enjoyable.

Volunteering, at a Smiles on Dials event, consists of helping participants to and from the beach and in and out of the water, along with set up and clean up.
Volunteers do not need to know how to surf, although water skills are highly valued. Food is provided and smiles are always encouraged!
Interested surfers and volunteers, should register before the day.
