Greig Burwood
Presenter
Greig's earliest musical memory is standing beside the piano as a toddler, singing nursery rhymes while his grandmother played. Music featured prominently throughout his upbringing, from classical records played on 78 rpm vinyl to regular outings to operas and symphony performances. Encouraged to pursue music, Greig chose the drums and trombone, performing with the Gladesville RSL Youth Club Brass Band, where he served as both a drummer and drum major.
With an appreciation for a wide range of musical genres, including jazz, blues, classical, and rock, Greig spent much of his youth attending concerts at renowned venues such as the Enmore Theatre, Sydney Entertainment Centre, and Hordern Pavilion, enjoying performances by acclaimed local and international artists.
Originally from Parramatta and raised in Sydney's Northern Suburbs, Greig holidayed at Lake Munmorah each Christmas before making the Central Coast his home in 2009. After completing qualifications in Food Technology, he built a successful 30-year career in food manufacturing before transitioning to a management role in general manufacturing.
